Wahid Echaddone

Born to a Moroccan father and a French mother, I grew up on the edge between cultures, an experience that was shaped even more by having lived in various places including the French suburbs where I grew up, Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom. My inherent restlessness and inability to stay within my comfort zone have driven me to spearhead a new generation of tattoo art and lifestyle, which promotes a diversity that reflects not only in my creativity and dedication, but also in my ambition to create something absolutely unique.

Immediately after completing my training as a tattoo artist in Paris in 2012, I opened my first tattoo studio in Barcelona, which has fortunately been very successful in an approach that was quite new to the Spanish tattoo scene. Ever since, I have been working tirelessly to bring to life the manifestation of my ideas and ideals, which resulted in the ever-growing 19:28 Tattoo family. Based in Berlin for now (with my incredible girlfriend and adorable dog), I regularly travel to Barcelona and beyond to uncover new tricks of the trade, sources of inspiration, influences and potential future destinations, all with the goal of taking 19:28 to the next level and grow as a person and as an artist.
