"My passion for animals was not given to me at birth. It came later in life, drawn from inspiration and fascination when I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to be closer to them. I was captivated by a toucan that resided at my first animal-related job. I had never been so amazed by one animal, he was the flint that sparked the fire. I knew I had found my life’s work. He, and others like him, are now immortalised on my skin. I want to thank Bartt for creating a piece that will remind me of how I began this career, this vocation.
