Scott Sylvia

Scott Sylvia has been tattooing since he was 18 years old. His career began in Monterey, California and he has worked all over the world pursuing his trade. He opened American Graffiti with friends Eric Hogan and Nate Sponsor when he was a young man. He has worked for other famous tattoo shops like Primal Urge, 222 Tattoo, and Temple Tattoo. Now, as fate would have it, Sylvia has landed in San Francisco and has opened another shop with two great artists and friends of his, Tim Lehi and Jeff Rassier.

Black Heart Tattoo has given Scott a place to really hone his craft. He is inspired by the creative artists that surround him at Black Heart and is excited to create his art for those who are game. Scott is eternally grateful for being able to pursue his passion for a living, and as his clients can attest, it shows in all of his work.
